Exam location and time - Het CertificaatThe examination room must meet a number of conditions where the client is responsible for. If the space does not meet the conditions the examiner has the possibility to refuse and cancel the exam there. He will then request to arrange a different location.

  1. The location needs to be sufficiently heated;
  2. The location needs to be sufficiently aired;
  3. The location must be draught-free;
  4. The location needs to be sufficiently lit;
  5. No disturbing sounds from outside are allowed to reach the exam location;
  6. Within the auditorium, the tables are placed far enough from one another to prevent the candidates from cribbing;
  7. The minimum size for a table is approximately 60 x 80 cm., and the distance between the tables may not be less than 1 meter. If two persons are seated at one table we place a partition;
  8. The chair must be of reasonable quality;
  9. The location ought to provide the possibility to drink a cup of coffee/tea or to smoke;
  10. The location ought to include a table and chair for the examiner;
  11. In the back of the auditorium there ought to be some additional chairs for the invigilators (in the event of groups larger than 20 candidates);
  12. Ladies’and men’s lavatories need to be available in the direct surroundings of the auditorium;
  13. In case of emergency a telephone must be available in the direct surroundings of the auditorium;
  14. If one of more factors do not comply with the requirements on the exam date, “Het Certificaat” is not committed to the rental agreement and no damages can be claimed;
  15. Prior to the exam the examiner will verify the auditorium. Any critical remarks need to be corrected on the spot;
  16. The letter or his/her stand-in must be present or standby 1 hour before commencement of the exam in order to give explanations and to rectify any eventual imperfections;
  17. The exam times as fixed (preferred) by ECABO, within which the exam must start, are:table
  18. In mutual consultation the exam can be held at another hour;
  19. The examination room cannot be at the same location as the training company is located.
